Airbag covers and wraps prevent foreign objects from contaminating the airbag modules and protect the airbag during its lifetime. We can make them from an array of materials, including nonwoven fabrics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyester (PET), PA and transparent Polyethylene (PE) film.

Our airbag covers are designed with the utmost care to prevent serious injuries that can occur in all types of collisions. Due to the sheer speed of impact, airbags must be allowed to inflate quickly and safely. ALT develops airbag covers which prevent foreign objects from getting inside the modules during assembly and transport. Our covers include centre (far side), driver (DAB), knee (KAB/KNAB), passenger (PAB) and side (SAB/Thorax) airbag covers.
Curtain airbags are situated from the top of the door rails above the side window, providing a cushion between the occupant’s head and the window. Our curtain airbag wraps, mini wrappers and wrap around tapes wrap the airbag and inflator together.
